I think it's dangerous to assume that one side are the good guys who never lie while the other are the bad guys who always do. Disinformation comes from all sides and one has to be critical of everything.

What does 'original style' means, though? Notre Dame was refurbished and changed in the 19th century (and at various other times) . For example, the famous gargoyles are not 'original' at all but date from that time.
