Good. All these software-only projects need to stop eating up all the pis. Especially when they buy multiple just to basically each be a docker instance. Save them for the people that need the hardware interfaces, not that those people alwa

Then maybe it should be more opt-in. We're losing settings and configurability as time goes on. And like encryption it can be a one way street, requiring a full reset to turn it off. That's open security. This is a cash grab

Likely worn out sectors. Sadly such products are easy in that they don't have a read only file system, but for the majority of users that would help. Maybe there should be a simple script called "finalize" that turns it read

You are indeed confused. My understanding of this is that they're telling the AI to post publicly account information that can be used to put charges on the account or maybe see account info. There not telling the AI to go... Do bankin

I think that's the industry's viewpoint as well. Intel's fabs' biggest customer was Intel. They're not doing well, so they're not fabbing as much especially at the leading edge. It'll death spiral.

You've missed my point. I don't think any human who has a job at a law firm would ignore a sentence like that. I think any AI I've used has ignored explicit instructions of moderate severity. I'm not worried it'll h

I think the concern is more than what it gathered, I think there's a lot of skepticism over it missing something. The same way so many AI tools just ignore commands, imagine it just ignoring a few sentences. Maybe like: > We'll

The other thing they'll need to do is not get bought out. Reportedly, Figma is competing with Adobe which was worse than an oligopoly. And there was an attempted buy-out that didn't go through. Only by staying on their own could i

So a note on the capacitor bank. Basically the power cable from the USB-C supply acts as an inductor. Meaning, it has an LC (C from its capacities) filter which acts as a low-pass. The capacitors on-board basically are here to counteract th

I don't think I understand why going away from fossil fuels necessitates exponential copper growth. However, it is good to see that the way to reduce cost happens to also increase yield. We need to be more efficient in our resource use

Sure, but my point was that just because something uses the same inputs and gets a similar output doesn't mean the processing is the same. This is just localization. Which is still impressive. But I'm not understanding there being

Huge respect to anybody who ships a product, even software. I have yet to use any indoor navigation or even have that offered, but it would be nice. Question is, is SLAM the correct term? I thought mapping meant like the device doesn't

No offense, but you failed here. What if nothing gets returned? Now you're basically just writing code. Debatably even that example you're just writing code. An onLoad callback with array indexing and child access? This is just Ja

Almost immediately is the reason I don't like using this stuff. A hardcoded default value. There are so many things these UI generators can almost do but don't, and a default value for a dynamic selection is often one of the trick

It's interesting. On embedded, heap allocation is usually not done. If it is, it's permanent- free does nothing. Not always the case, you can enable a real alloc/free algorithm, but usually you don't need to free so it d
