I mean you could always tag transparency as extra bits. Presumably both sides of the link would need to understand this. So you'd send an 8bpc signal as idk 10, which gets you 6bpc of transparency. Or you run a faster framerate where 1

And in his interviews he talks about the near vertical progress they're making. Of course nobody agrees but if those two are true, that's doubly exponential to keep pace.

My goodness is there a huge difference between TSMC and OpenAI. TSMC moving to the US is a benefit to all US fabless companies and fabless companies that want to do business in any sensitive US industry, and they have an incredible track re

There was also some woman (maybe a high up exec, I don't know their full roster) in one of those live audience interviews saying they were looking towards a government backstop on the loans. They know they have no way of ponying up 1.4

Well what's interesting to me is that Logitech has their wireless dongle and wireless gaming headphones (which need lower latency) have theirs. These have existed for how many decades? Surely there's a way to just standardize this

Ehhhhh the picture shows a very short cable. You can most certainly find micros that can run 100Mb/s communication interfaces, though sure maybe not bitbanged. However, you really need a PHY and magnetics. MII is 25MHz which seems fine

All processors are inherently behind. First research comes out or standards are made, then much time later silicon is fabbed. For example, pcie gen 6 was ratified years ago, but there's nothing I've seen that uses it. Maybe you co

I'm torn on the quest. I don't own any VR. The cost of a lot of these systems is much higher than the quests. However, I feel like I'd use it tethered to my PC a lot. Do you notice loss in quality for that? I haven't bee

One of the things we were taught in uni was audience analysis. I think about it a lot. What's expected to already be known? What acronyms or phrases need defining? Etc. This is an art I'm far from perfect at and it seems a lot of
