A false positive is better than a false negative. And OP's actions have presumably precluded any further diagnostics. I think once it'd had the heck smashed out of it with a sledgehammer, it's out of warranty and Nest/Go

I've got a first gen non-4G Moto G, and it's served me well (on Giffgaff). I have hammered the poor thing though. It's suffered more abuse than any piece of hardware reasonably should, and it's starting to show it. Batte

Handset cost is subsidized for some PAYG upgrades in CPW. Lumia 435 (unlocked) for £15 as an example. At the time, they were significantly more expensive on Amazon. The Lumia 435 is not a fantastic handset for techies, it's unsuitable

Great. And the only real multi-network highstreet competition, Phones4U, went under (relatively) recently. That's my parents and my remaining grandparent's details breached then. Fan-fucking-tastic.

I was for a while, using a W7 VM on VirtualBox. I hooked it up to the VPN interface so that if the VPN dropped, I wasn't leaking traffic and it couldn't access the local network or host machine without significant difficulty. It w

We call them "shipping screws", because they're in there when the thing ships, but clearly aren't required for proper function. Did the bloke in the video ever find out what the missing bits were for? Or were they dupes

Thanks for taking the time to write that out, it's appreciated. That was one of the best answers I've had to any question I've ever asked online.

I'd be nervous about the 98% purity. What makes up the other 2%? I mean if they're making stuff that is designed to alter your production of red blood cells, is that 2% of stuff likely to be inert or be stuff that has an effect on

If you're on Android, there are so many possible different solutions to the problem. You're not crippled to what Apple deem fit for you to have. Off the top of my head, I can think of four more, other the suggestions in that blogp

Have you tried Firefox and uBlock (maybe uBlock0, I forget) on a reasonable Android phone? It is amazing, and vastly superior to any other mobile browsing I've tried. Including Safari on an iPad.

I think the article would benefit from proofreading in general by a native speaker. I found it really hard going. I'd say it's EFL, but that's speculation. The language seems pretty advanced in style but the author trips over

Are you talking the network code, or playing? For the latter, by the looks of it, there's a free-for-all alpha playtest every month. Not sure I've presently got a client that will play it sufficiently well to do it justice, but it

Add another piece of hardware. Cheap off-the-shelf Linux-running hardware. A rebadged Netgear router that'll run OpenWRT is £7. Worst case, Raspberry Pi is £45 including case, cheap small SD card, PSU and an extra USB Ethernet adapter.

Pao actually tried submitting a PM to a subreddit. Not a screenshot, the actual URL for the PM. If she has an area of expertise other than "diversity", she seems to be flubbing it.
