Unfortunately, this arguably buries the lead by following HN guidelines. >Source >This vulnerability was found during the analysis of documents related to the Vault 7 disclosure.

I think the irony is in Microsoft, traditionally thought of as a "embrace, extend, extinguish" proponent, being the one providing an open-source tool facilitating escaping their own DirectX vendor lock-in.

I think Macs "just working" has always been a myth. Ask anyone who gets paid to fix Macs. Sure, I see less of them, but hardly unexpected considering people buy fewer of them (and they're less targetted by malware). On the ot

It does have a very fish-eyed lens and some annoying design decisions. And the Xiaomi Yi app is less than stellar. But I love mine, and the waterproof cases for them are dirt cheap and sacrificial.

Whoa, that's weird pricing. Although no more so than ours I guess! But a full Sky sub here is ridiculously expensive at retail. To get Sky Atlantic and SyFy in HD (1080i) you need the "Boxset" bundle at £38 a month. The "

In the UK, you'd probably be better off with Now TV. It's basically Sky's IP-only platform. If you don't mind 720p and the lack of subtitles (with subs currently in closed beta), it's pretty cheap. Especially as you

Both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video have their issues with different devices. Especially on the PC, where Netflix only does 4K over "an HDCP 2.2 compliant connection to a 4K capable display, Intel's 7th generation Core CPU [Kaby L

That 400-pound basement-dweller called 4Chan really knows his cyber, huh? You'd think LaBouf had enough experience with the Internet to know this was always going to be derailed.

I can understand why you didn't link directly to the Heat Street article. But as it was lifted pretty much wholesale, you should probably have just linked the source. https://heatst.com/tech/he-will-not-divide-us-l

I hope you are wrong. Age of Ascent did play tests that were rather fun (and impressive) when I caught them, and that's in-browser no-plugin.

Nothing guarantees that. There have been RCE exploits on iOS. One could argue that live patching allowed companies to fix or mitigate security problems faster than Apples (awful) app store policy (and timescale) would otherwise allow.

It would initially seem like an odd oversight as it has Welsh, with half the number of speakers. Another poster said there are more on the way. I wonder if it's a technical or political reason for it not being in the release? They pres
