Milo's stratospheric rise in popularity hasn't helped. But for coverage of say Gamergate, it was the only news organization I'd seen to actually investigate and show the other side, rather than just utterly misunderstanding i

Now, mostly, maybe. At launch it was a clusterf k. I use Win 10 on pretty much every device except my phone and my disposable 7" Fire tablet. But Microsoft still find ways to screw things up. I don't know if ICS was working pre-A

It means you aren't missing any actual calls by keeping your PSTN line engaged, the call is recorded for hilarity, and you can take the call when you aren't at home. You can make an otherwise boring car journey far more entertaini

2 hours? Amateur! A combination of VirtualBox, Twilio, a VPN and an old i5 laptop allows for far longer scammer frustration. Simply give them remote access (after hiding the VirtualBox tools) then turn down the core count, memory allocation

When I last saw it reported, 1080p is the max unless you use a Kaby Lake CPU and Edge (and the premium higher-price 4-stream Netflix subscription). The Windows Store app does not go above 1080p. It's such utterly ridiculous bullshit.

Indeed, the IMEI is on the SIM800 board, which is hooked up to the Pi's UART.

The project lead is in Latvia. Is anyone in Europe sunsetting 2g? Any network that does 2g GSM will work, and if it's pin and AT command set compatible with the SIM800 then any other GSM module will work. If not, it's a straightfo

No VoIP (yet at least), the audio is handled entirely by the SIM800 at present. The SIM800 is hooked up via the Pi's UART for commands. Not sure about the SMS software, someone on Reddit asked about that too.

Depending on the cellular modem, you can. Some the USB Huwawai modem dongles have a "call" mode, a YouTube search will give you a run down.

I wouldn't have said dishonest. The only access the baseband running on the SIM800 has to the main processor (Pi) is via the Pi's UART. It's completely different from the "read and write directly to shared memory" a

The combination of mbasic for Messenger, and m for normal Facebook browsing, is fine on Android. I don't install the awful FB apps on my phone any more, and I'm a fairly heavy Facebook user.
