This is cool, but playing with it is making me feel ill. I don't suffer from non-VR motion sickness to a significant degree, but there's something about this that gives a really weird sick feeling. It's similar but different

"Plant hire" amuses me, as it's not the hiring of greenery for the workplace, but the hiring of dump trunks, excavators etc.

I hope this sort of product spreads out of the industrial space. The ASRock (again) DeskMini A300 shows there's a definite market for tiny Ryzen-based machines for the home. Closest I've seen right now would be a DIY around the At

If you have Blender in muscle memory, is using it as a video editor an option for you? Supposedly it's pretty good once you get over the learning curve, does knowing Blender for 3D help with that?

Leaving the EU can be equally messy, our own Remainer-in-charge-of-Brexit PM nearly voted against the government last month. If nothing else, Brexit is proving that the EU is better than the alternative. https://inews.co.uk/

Most of the cameras I've seen in new retail premises in the last few years are HikVision IP cameras, somewhere between 1080P and 5MP (2592 x 1944). YMMV though, and obviously you've got settings and NVR settings when considering q

Because it wasn't sufficiently clear to GPP that it was IDA Pro's support that was problematic. GPP incorrectly thought it was BinaryNinja support that was the problem, which isn't the case.

Off-topic, but how's cheating on CS:GO? I wasn't a particularly good player, but as a 1.6 enthusiast, and a CS:S addict (on a brutally admin'd clan server), the rampant cheating in CS:GO was game-ruining for me. I don't

My first game of AL was great, and I was paired with a talkative and helpful teammate and one silent but cooperative one. After that it ranged between silence (Comms and text) to outright hostile. I like the tagging system and appreciate no

Really interesting read. I appreciate that it highlights the problems with the data and doesn't reach ridiculous conclusions based on junk data. Anecdotally I've found a noticeable improvement since Endorsements, which this data m

I wonder if the primary driver for buying and offering alternative platforms for EC2 instances was to send Intel a message. "We aren't afraid to go to AMD if you don't make your offering more competitive."

Don't most sat STBs run Linux? That may be a misconception on my part, but I thought most did. I don't know how to check if I'm wrong.

HDCP is pretty much a solved problem for STBs, as you've said, a £14 HDMI splitter will do the job unless you're pushing 4K. Which most people aren't. Only thing I've seen to be picky is the PS4 (which was a ballache for
