Neat idea. But I’m also worried by setups where users have the ability to shut down a remote host but aren’t privileged enough to then hit the ipmi or cloud management console and turn it back on again. Suppose the thought is avoiding downt

I remember seeing this and realizing I didn’t care what this ranking site thought when my favorite apples had some of the worst ratings. Is food… kinda hard to definitively rank things where everyone has a different opinion.

Check out the gigabyte laptops. I did basically exactly this for a bit of one of theirs. All hardware worked out of the box with Debian and Kali. Space for two m.2’s s well, so no pain points of multiple OS’s on the same drive.

Pretty sure it’s a deliberate action. It could be taken pretty badly by other countries if you falsify their currency. But make something which looks similar while obviously not being real, and you’re probably annoying but safe.

The best boss I ever had took this approach: “My position and title mean nothing. The legacy I leave will be the success that each person under me ultimately has.” He took his leadership role as a servant focused on the wellbeing of those u

This feels like an overstep at first read, but I take a little pause that the judge mentioned it was more than sleeping which bothered him. Should he react that way? Probably not. But I’d like to hear more about how that teen specifically a

So it’s not an app for you. I could see people potentially setting aside money and using it as motivation to complete tasks. Or even better, a chore list for the kids. Write out a bunch of stuff and let them have at whatever they want to do

I would favor 1, 2, and 10. I can make any combination of numbers out of 1 and 2. Adding in 10 helps simplify expressing larger numbers. And I don’t necessarily need the concept of 0 to understand that if I remove all my numbers, I have not
