The more I hear about Crash Bandicoot, the more I wish someone like Fabien Sanglard wrote a book about it. It seems like there are so many cool solutions implemented in it. It was also made at what seems like such a pivotal time for games,

My response here is purely intuition, since I have never worked much with time series. But wouldn't capturing that relationship require periodic retraining or other components to the network regardless? It may suggest that end-to-end t

How is that being fair? Does you not having heard about it define what is a great product, and what is not? Google Inbox was great. Intuitive, modern, snappy, a testbed for new features, and on the surface it seemed less monetized and ad-ri

I feel like Jonathan Blow's most recent talk[0] touches on why communication is important from a selfish perspective, for us as "artisans"/creatives. It's doesn't have to be about pleasing someone higher up i

This is exactly what I feel I've been driven to this last year. I don't want to have all my media spread around on a tenfold different streaming providers, nor do I want to live with the random removals of offerings that seem to h

We should also consider that if there's a larger crowd of bystanders, an individual will feel more sure that others will help them as long as they act. "Safety in numbers" so to say.

Whether or not feelings should be included as proof for something depends a whole lot on: are the feelings of this person relevant to the argument at hand. 1. Global warming is not untrue because someone feels a certain way about it. 2. I m
