Maybe consider a Google Scholar integration? Its search results include links to full-text pdf at times. Even not, extracted links to publisher websites could be helpful for a batch review of referenced articles.

You can use Dropbox for hosting. If you have got a "public" folder, copy the HTML file into it and get a direct link. or you can use some service like pancake (pancake.io, currently i am getting 503 error though, not sure whether

Congrats, this looks great and promising. I am wondering how localhost works. When Linux version comes out, will it support storing database on a remote host? In other words, using own virtual host as a server.
