All the people saying twitter is now dying remind me of "the walls closing in" on Trump, who is running for president in 2024: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLEchPZm318

Completely agree. My favorite example of this is Douglas Adams' description of flight (or orbital mechanics): "Throw yourself at the ground and miss."

The idea is a bit older than that: Clancy here expresses an idea evoked in similar statements made by others, all derived from the orignial made by Lord Byron: Lord Byron: Truth is always strange; stranger than fiction. Mark Twain: Truth is

Millions die every year for we are mortal and numerous. Thankfully, the world's population grew during the pandemic. 210,000 to 448,000 Americans die every year to preventable medical errors: https://en.wikipedia.org

Oddly enough I was rocking 100% accuracy by ignoring the face and looking at the background. Maybe a face-centric ML isn't so good at backgrounds. Shocker!

Copyright infringement isn't stealing. My perspective on this was formed when I sold a chemistry program I wrote on a TI-85 to another student in 1997. It felt ridiculous to charge a lot for something I still had after selling it so I
