Sony is losing a lot in the TV market, same as Panasonic. I am not sure you can "fix" the TV market, since the TV's role is still changing, and hardware innovations become less and less important, so there's no way to go back to the boom of

A small anecdote about the original RCT: while building your coasters, trees weren't automatically removed if they were in the way, you had to manually click them away. Chris Sawyer, who basicall built this single-handedly said it would be

I loved the old MSI Forgotten Realms Games, especially my first, Gateway to the Savage Frontier, which had a German release. I was very new to Computer Games and AD&D, and I briefly thought you had to wait 8 real time hours for your wiz

Drupal has always been slow out of the box, so it's not news that it must be heavily optimized.

Yes, people believe this. It's not different than "Zeitgeist" and the 9/11 conspiracy. More recently, they seem to focus on "crisis actors" that pose as victims after terror attacks or killing sprees. There was some of the same old after Sa

I especially hate the kind of spam you find in the comments over at rockpapershotgun.com, which looks similar, but is more annoying as it interrupts the comment tree: Joshua. I just agree… Bonnie`s postlng is good, on sunday I bought a gorg

Hopefully not. Knowing jQuery is no substitute for knowing Javascript, and you can see this problem with many developers who ask "How can I do x in jQuery" when all they need is JS. Bigger frameworks may hinder this development, because to

I really liked the Chzo Mythos. It is a mystery / horror point and click adventure, quite short. The atmosphere is really great. http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/5days/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chzo_Mythos#7_Days_a_Skeptic

Possibly because they got attention prior to the 2010 Football World Cup. Always good to see that some money goes to meaningful infrastructure projects.

You are not switching to Yeoman if you use grunt, since yeoman uses grunt for all the tasks you mentioned. Yeoman is for quickly setting up and adding common parts to your app. For example, in angular you can create controllers, directives

Wow, seems to cover a lot of use cases. I wonder how it compares to discourse.org What confuses me a little is the part in the manifesto, where they basically claim, Moot will reduce trolling and memes and make conversation more meaningful.

I never knew this one! Looks simpler than Goodreads, I like it. But it has the same bias towards the English edition of a book, not even highlighting the original even if I searched for it. I wonder what's gonna happen to it.

Hopefully they will invest in development of the actual site. Its ui is inconsistent, sometimes confusing, and at times very slow. While they support many many use cases, the workflow for a simple thing like "add a book I am reading and the

In the postcards, there's quite a big difference between flight = diving. While the flight fantasies all involve mechanics (proven to work at least in 1910), most diving fantasies involve training sea animals in some way. So why didn't they

I wish jps (ST developer) was more responsive. There are many small bugs and inconsistencies that are dragged through the versions, even the new beta. A centralized bug tracker would be a great first step. Submit a bug, have it acknowleged

Cool. The grid could give a little more information, though, like last version, if widgets are included and other stuff I can't think of. You could also make the column headers sortable; useful if the list gets longer.
