That was just an example though. My point was that you're constantly fighting an operating system that's clearly not designed for you ( the developer ).

Maybe there's a slash and shoot game with the random generation aspect and pausing/unpausing of a rouguelike? That would be cool, especially if it was FLOSS.

It's just a "better integrated" virtual machine: "Lima launches Linux virtual machines on macOS" This might be a controversial opinion, but I find developers flocking to macOS really bewildering. As a developer, why

I love FLOSS games. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of Rougelikes. And a significant portion of Linux games are Rougelikes. I think these types of games are just more fun to build, and possibly simpler as well.

I think you're putting way too much faith in these companies. Just going off of your example, they're most likely just going to provide support for 2 years ( if that ), and then say "sorry, the newest version of lane keep ass

It doesn't look like there is a Thunderbolt port ( a 40 GBPS port ). I recall reading that it has something to do with it working on Intel only hardware. But whatever the case is, lack of Thunderbolt is unfortunately a deal breaker. I&
