I doubt my parents or sister would know how to change their homepage manually. These are the people that Facebook are targeting this feature at. Not tech nerds.

I can see this happening. A phone marketed as having Facebook OS will appeal to a huge market.

SMS, Email, IM and FB messages all have similar dynamics. A unified system combining these four makes a lot of sense and wouldn't be horrible.

You can set the categories with the expense manually. It generally works pretty well. New Zealand doesn't really have a Walmart type company that sells TVs with your groceries.

Google doesn't have the social graph that Facebook does.

It sets the category based on the name of the company that it recognises. For example if I buy a tv it would recogise the name of the electronics store and put it under the Computers and Electronics category. It's simple to manually categor

Recently my local bank (Kiwibank in NZ) launched a free online financial management service that I've been very impressed with. It automatically categories all my expenses and makes it easy to see where my money is going and set a budget. I

I still email occasionally but only when necessary. That's why I said I'm not a regularly user. My point is that I've never used email for friend to friend communication.

I don't need to send attachments to my friends very often. If I did I'd send it via MSN or email it to them. I can see the business & college need for email but for friend to friend communication Facebook messaging is already dominant.

This is very true. I'm 20 and I've never used my personal email regularly and I'm sure most of my friends haven't either. We've always used MSN or AIM and more recently Facebook to keep in touch.

No, you are assuming that Facebook have already reached their maximum revenue per user. Facebook's revenue potential is massive and is only going to go up.

This is a great move for Lars. Look for him to integrate his Wave vision with FB chat. Wave wasn't bad it just never came close to critical mass and with Facebook he gets that instantly.

That seems like a good solution. Making public groups opt-in is probably a good idea. However opt-in wouldn't change much for private groups because no one else can see the private groups that you have been added to.

Keep in mind that these "groups" are different from the previous version of groups that facebook use to have. You get a notification when added to a group and can easily leave with one click. Groups are private by default which means that n

This isn't as bad as it looks. Only your friends can add you into groups. You also don't have to participate in the group and they have made it very easy to leave. Jason is not a typical user and probably has a lot of crappy friends due to

I disagree. Initially players and fans were skeptical and didn't treat T20 too seriously. However opinions changed and these days most players and fans take it very seriously. T20 is without doubt the fastest and most entertaining format, r
