Growing up in rural Arkansas I never considered raccoons cute or cuddly. The ones you meet out in the forest there are basically nature's version of the ninja. Vile things that will hiss at you and attack animals of any size. It wasn&#

My personal experience is trying to run a food related startup in Oakland. It didn't go so hot, but then again I think we tried to do too much. We tried to make the food, deliver the food, and provide the technology to order the food.

I wouldn't think that a roadster is the correct vehicle for LRR tires. I had them on my 1st gen Insight and they are terrible, terrible things from a performance point of view.

Yep. Use the built in browser methods? For which browser?!? All of them? I have to support some enterprise guys on IE8, sometimes I'm lucky to have them on IE9. Life isn't always a hipster website where people can get lunch delive

I'm going to paraphrase a friend of mine who is a great mobile developer. They could have used AIR on mobile to re-use the AS3 codebase. Alternately, they could have done c++ on cocos2d-x instead of objective c, so that would have been

These guys need to really study the recent information put out from Microsoft about how they make Office for as many platforms as they do. I think a lot could be done to make the core of the game more portable. It's just not being done

Hopefully they take some of that money and try processing payments other than credit cards. I really wanted to use them, but I have old school customers who want to pay me with a physical check sometimes.

Our friendsgiving was 45 people this year. 3 turkeys, and everyone brought at least a dish. Lots of fun. We did mini pineapple upside-down cakes and somehow the only corn dish, scalloped corn.

It's not necessarily top talent. It's young / youngish single people who are willing to kill their bodies with insane hours at the office that most startups are after. Those people are generally in SF, or at least the kind of

It's funny you mention entity framework. That's what blows up tempdb on one of my many environments with some of the stupidest queries I've ever seen hit the server. Maybe your experience with entity is better than mine, but

If he's serious about that stuff, he should look at a minivan. Or here's a wildcard. It's similar to the Aztek, the GMC Envoy XUV. The Aztek gets about 94 cubic ft of cargo room, the XUV is 95.5. You won't find one new,

Would you buy a car that guaranteed to never break down? Do you not understand how ridiculous a 100% uptime claim is? I don't even consider companies stupid enough to put out a blurb like that.
