You can also call it "Coalinga Mode" when you are passing through Cow Hell on I5.

Maybe, but you can certainly find someone on twitch streaming themselves reading a book. You can follow them and tip them accordingly.

Are you saying that Route 53 and Cloudflare don't have distributed DNS? How could they not be, when my OLD PAL 4.2.2.2 has been distributed since the 90s?

I don't know about you guys, but I don't play violent video games because I'm a violent person. I don't even think specifically about the violence. I think that one of the important outlets of video games is letting you

As someone who has earned a top performance award at a big 4 accounting firm, I think they should drop the requirement entirely. I have an Arkansas high school education. I came to work there through an acquisition.

I blame the trend of early access releases. I got burned by a few kickstarters early on. I'm never giving anyone money for a game that I can't play until the future. This means pre-ordering AAA titles as well. What's the poin

Yep. Same here. IBM contract in one of our huge data centers. (This was for a large accounting firm.) The process to get a new blade installed in one of our chassis took 6 months.

What is the point of owning a car? You ask this as I sit here looking to see if Ford has opened the books on ordering a Focus RS... There are more uses for cars than A to B devices. Watch this video. I saw it when I was around age 16 and it

Maybe this statement will date me, but I don't really like this trend of having to deal with less things. I mean, sure, it's more simple to get started. But when things break you are screwed because nobody really knows what is goi

Ozarks. Northwest Arkansas. Eureka Springs if you are super blue. Fayetteville area for college life. Very cheap and infinite nature. Not as backwards as you'd expect. Source: I grew up in Carroll County Arkansas.

I had to recently power cycle my refrigerator. The bottom ice maker stopped working and no matter what setting I had it on would make it create ice. My current theory is that I changed the ice settings while the freezer was open (a few days

Yeah, what exactly is the point here? This is IT department white knighting. What's next? The guy who wrote the script that emails Comcast customers that they are doing something illegal makes a blog post bragging about it?

Let's extend this with a network of geographically diverse users of the script on different accounts. That way our chances of winning AND our chance of having someone near the contest are both increased.

I had that book and used it extensively. I think I went through three copies of it due to use and me destroying it with my filthy hands. I had a 70.5 baja bug from age 14 until 21. I lived 8 miles from a town of 3,000 in Arkansas, and later

What about licenses for developers to develop software to run on that server? What about licenses for things like deployment software and Microsoft-centric VCS? What kind of database are you going to run? MS-SQL? To paraphrase the toy story

My 2 year old can actually get these off. We had to switch to a normal life vest that has a strap that goes underneath, by his crotch. If the kid is determined enough, they can indeed come off.

I have a repo for SQL changes that include synchronization files (.sql) for all of the changes I made. The diff does include a summary of the changes. Unfortunately, it does not include any information about what the last_name field does.

I add my comments to the commit message that contain the schema changes. If you seriously add a comment like 'required first name of user' you are wasting everyone's time.
