I thought the same until I spent more time in Reno. The cost of living increased too much and the WIND is the worst thing about the area. Constant 40+ mph gusts. I don't know much about Vegas, perhaps it's better.

Having just left the Central Valley of California, living there for 7 years working remotely the whole time, I don’t think it’ll work out this way. If you want to see overtaxed areas where you absolutely cannot see the benefits of your tax

The app Gaia GPS has MVUM (motor vehicle use maps by the US forest service) that are outstanding. You can use multiple map layers at once. You can use the Caltopo plus the MVUM to see which areas are open and passable.

It was a Garmin and it was 15 years ago, but it attempted to send me down a legit ski slope near Lake Tahoe. Good times. Like it sent you through the parking area and behind the club house and everything. I’ve been a skeptic ever since. The

Are you implying that companies outsource all of the janitorial duties now? I'm in Arkansas, so crack all the jokes you want, but the big places that produce a lot of food (McKee comes to mind - Little Debbie) staff their own positions

I had to fix the exhaust on this one too! This mower came with the property I bought this summer. You'd be hard pressed to find something less maintained than this mower. It was missing both exhaust bolts where the exhaust connects to

Yeah. Damn. I hope nobody at NASA looks at some of the repairs I've had to make on my riding mower. I blame the work angles of some of those jobs...

What I'm hearing is that if I live stream myself performing a crime, and I'm arrested, I'm now a valid statistic for a journalist being arrested. Is that accurate? I strongly disagree with you, if so.

If I was arrested while livestreaming to Facebook I would be on their list of arrested journalists. Technically this means that a journalist was arrested in this situation, by their definition above: https://www.cnn.com/201

What's their definition of journalist here? Journalists, at these protests, that were arrested? In other words, how many twitter followers do I need before I can identify as a journalist?!

For me a very frustrating thing was trying to figure out where my tax money went in California. Roads suck. Public education sucks. Tent cities everywhere. Then COVID-19 hit and you could tell, early on, that it was going to be mismanaged,

I look at it this way. I think it's simpler to do this kind of backup in case things go wrong (which, honestly, is not that often. Twice in 5 years that I can think of off the top of my head) than it is to set up kubernetes, manage kub

Uhhh... backups?! Not all companies release daily, weekly, and sometimes not even monthly. Stage the rollout, do your testing, get your evidence, get your plan, perform the release.

I have read about that too. In my situation it's backwards. My older daughter is Feb, younger is Oct. In fastpitch the season turns with the calendar, so the Feb birth month would have the advantage.
