And whom is responsible by and large for working hard to influence those laws? It's a bit like saying it isn't Intuit's fault for how crazy it is to file taxes in the U.S., as it's all coming from lawmaker policy. The pr

I mean, information is dangerous. The trick is are we willing to examine it for whether it is true, and if so challenge our preconceived notions, accept the ramifications to our life, culture, society, etc. I suspect the answer for many

FWIW, maintaining a language is really, really hard. That said, this is going to kill adoption until it's either addressed or forked. While I doubt it is a major driving factor for D, no informed tech lead in their right mind should ap

I agree with this sentiment. As much as it lags the competition, it would be doing even worse had they not marketed the ever loving crap out of their flagship Halo. Remember I Love Bees?

Mocks force you to be aware of how your method/function under testing operates at a low level. At that point your test is now tightly coupled to a specific implementation. YMMV, but I can safely say from working on large codebases acro

I invite you to give it a shot. Apps don't normally have to care that deeply about UI latency, high cpu usage, various quirks of performance hits across platforms, VRAM, controller variations, achieving a solid 30-60 FPS minimum, batte

Consider an air monitor too. I worked in a small enclosed office, and I was surprised at times on how much the co2 levels fluctuated. When it got into 4 digits, I learned to open a window or something to encourage airflow.

As much of a fan as I am of Java, I have to agree. There are some real bombshells in the library that can either make your coding life or debugging a prod service miserable (sometimes both). Other additions are great, but have hurt readabil

Try JetBrains Rider, and be sure you are using a recent flavor of dotnet. When I migrated past 4.x to 6 of the .Net ecosystem, it dramatically improved my ability to work and deploy in C# with their rather delightful build system. For examp

Take some time to learn the navigation and refactoring abilities of the JetBrains family. It is IMHO unmatched by most. Using almost any other IDE feels like a downgrade, especially on large codebases with complex dependencies. Beyond Java

To be fair, at least Wikipedia offers a traceable history of those edits. Most, if not all sufficiently large LLMs, are effectively opaque boxes that even their creator can rarely explain how a specific answer was reached, much less how the

There is certainly a trend in processors as well as GPUs to push the hardware further by pumping more power into it. This (almost) always plays into the various workstation-grade laptops out there, which I suspect many won't unlock the
