She can do whatever she wants. I have tried very hard to make it clear I am not saying "She is doing it wrong!" But I have handled things different from her. I am currently working on a blog post about it. It isn't an easy th

I said I could not control what the world does. That doesn't mean I can't change the world. Those are two different concepts.

Yes, I figured. I have had a college class on homelesness and I run a homeless blog. The OP already replied and clarified. It is all good.

Thank you. I think I still don't really agree, but maybe I will mull it over and blog about it rather than try to talk about my reservations here.

The homeless generally don't have paid employment I would be interested in seeing your stats. I worked while homeless. I did freelance writing and, later, resume writing. I have known homeless individuals with regular jobs. I don

Her positioning of her public persona here is not doing her any favors. On the one hand, if she can get taken seriously while showing herself off as a sexy cyborg with her bod strongly highlighted, this may help break some stereotypes. On

My assumption is that the parent comment means, in part, that how we choose to do things like structure corporations and corporate compensation is a societal thing.

The top 10% share and top 1% share are increasing. The middle 40% and bottom 50% have gotten worse. The data in some of these graphs are for as few as three countries. It paints a picture of the rich milking the rest of the world for wealth

Maybe. I am getting a weird issue when trying to open a page for research I am doing for paid work. I can't get to the page and it offers to open as a PDF or something and then fails to open anything. Just more error messages follow.

I have a lot of personal issues, including being medically handicapped. One of the things I have learned in life: whatever I might dislike about myself and see as a bug, someone somewhere sees as a feature. Things like BDSM are pretty objec

I work for a service called Textbroker. Unlike Upwork, it is not a race to the bottom. You can start off making very little and grow your income, potentially to a middle class level. It helped me get off the street. I sometimes recommended
