I use Gnod Search which has AI tools next to the common search engines like Google, DuckDuckGo etc: https://www.gnod.com/search For half of my searches or so, I get better answers via some of the AI search tools. Especially

As a vegan who also does weightlifting, I am happy that all studies I found so far came to the conclusion that soy based protein intake provides the same benefits to muscle growth as meat based protein intake. Here is one of the more recent

I'm always surprised that so few people on planes talk to each other. It is amazing how a talk to the person next to you on a plane can turn a boring, multiple hour long flight into a nice experience that feels way shorter.

For a LAMP system (Debian, Apache, MariaDB, PHP) what is the best choice on Hetzner Cloud these days, Intel, AMD or ARM? More generally speaking, ist there any difference (except maybe performance) when running Debian on Intel vs AMD vs ARM

Can this also help getting data from a Samsung watch? I don't like to be tracked. So when a device does not work without initializing it via an app, I install the app on a secondary phone and then delete it again. But to get my data fr

They seem to be a web design/development agency who are looking for enterprise customers. Is that something you sell via SEO? What are the terms that enterprise customers would search for when looking for a new web agency?

We still have a misunderstanding. The difference I propose is not about the modalities of the payments. Not about the merchant being able to change the price or you being able to request refunds. It's about how the relationship between

The same flow would work for subscriptions. The amount would just be a string like "whatever+whenever". So you tell your payment provider that you authorize this merchant to pull whatever amount of money whenever they feel like.

The whole concept of how we pay online is insane. You put data into a form of a random website you want to pay a small amount to. Data which enables everybody who has it to cause trouble. Trouble to you, trouble to your credit card company,

I think one can also run a git repo without history. That would solve the "dirty stuff in the history" problem. I don't think binary blobs should be included at the beginning. The "content" file should be just a tex

Good question. The first step would be to just write 'censored' into the 'content' file and commit. That would remove it from the current view. Does it have to be removed from history? If the history is not public, proba

I don't know the specific circumstances here. But making a link js-only is often a sign that the developers are not aware how much of a problem complexity is.

How is the complexity of parsing html related to how much visits the website has?

I don't understand why the apps in question (Apollo etc) care about the Reddit API and its terms at all. Those apps are basically browsers. Applications to browse Reddit, right? Why not use the "html over http" API which ever

Looking at the questions, they seem not very niche to me: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/ Just that typical questions about popular technologies. Isn't Dang being paid to moderate HN?

By choosing SQLite. No server process and a single file per DB which I can put wherever I like.

It's actually the other way round. The camcorder can reproduce every scene in detail. But it can not tell you the plot. AI can tell you about the plot, but not reproduce detailed scenes. So this is a prime example of how AI is humanlik

Does AI really "adapt" a "work"? Or does it learn from looking at the world and then create its own works, just like a human does?

Should we also retroactively introdue laws to make shovels and pencils illegal? Those also made a lot of people obsolete. Let alone tractors and cameras. Do we have to go back to a time before the flintstone?

Why? How does training a neural network violate copyright law? Which paragraph? Same question for "data protection/privacy".
