Man this one sucks. Being called at 2am to fix something once every couple of months isn't great but I can deal with it. Knowing I can be called at 2am on any day and be expected to fix something and not knowing when that will happen i

I picked up a pair of dumbbells recently. They take up almost no room, enable a ton of extra exercises, and can add resistance to bodyweight exercises you might already be doing. I highly recommend getting a pair to anyone looking to add a

I've done my last two builds primarily through Microcenter. Their prices are similar to or better than other places and both times I've gotten $50 off by buying the motherboard and processor through them.

It's kind of funny how true it is. I think development shut down but there was an erotic furry Pokemon-like game in development that was pulling in like $35k a month on Patreon. There is definitely a market there.

Same, I reverted to the old UI a month ago or so but yesterday I was forced back to the new UI with no option to revert again.

I had a similar experience the last time I was in a Kmart. No employees, no other customers, empty shelves. Go to the electronics department and you'll find games for systems that were obsolete a decade ago. I don't understand how

Minneapolis: The weather. We get everything from -30 degree weather and raging snowstorms in the winter to unbearably humid 100+ degree weather in the summer. Apart from that I don't have any serious complaints. And even though I compl

I'd have to look to dig up an interview link, but I'm pretty sure that's what kicked off Valve's Linux-based "Steam box" initiative several years ago. They looked at Microsoft's moves towards a curated app

I see it all the time. An article with a title like "People are outraged about [topic author wants you to be outraged about]," and then the "article" is nothing but two tweets from random people.

You are also limited in recourse if Valve screws you over. If a retailer seriously screws me over and I'm not able to resolve the issue with them I can always resort to doing a chargeback. If I try to do a chargeback on Valve they will

Yep, I let mine expire this summer. It would have been 50% more expensive than when I first signed up for it. If I want two day shipping I'll pay for it and it will be significantly cheaper than a Prime subscription.

I canceled my Netflix account about a year ago. Terrible UI changes, steady removal of great shows and movies (yes, I know this isn't technically their fault), and price increases made it no longer worth it to me.
