Totally off-topic: Shouldn't it be "countries'" with an apostrophe? To denote possession?

Why do everyone always forget the small things when it comes to Apple? It's what makes them great, and it's why customers will choose the 7-inch iPad over the Nexus. It's about battery life, lack-of-lag, build quality, trust in brand, bette

And you're not really helping. Perhaps if you'd posted an actually useful, thought-through comment, people would be inspired to follow the tone and standard you set forth. Further, if you're going to to complain, please do it with arguments

"Net neutrality should be built into the fabric of the Internet through better technology - legislation clearly isn't working." There was a lot of coverage about some kind of mesh network being developed in response to SOPA (reddit related?

Friend, using terms like "braindamaged" is really not that constructive. I've seen an uptake in these kinds of posts lately on HN, and I wish you would all tone it down. Just be polite, rational, constructive and helpful. Only lazy people t

Fair enough. Do you expect the mining companies to pursue a similar path as the MPAA once they actually start losing money?
762.
by MrJagil 15y ago
See, why is it that the mining companies are seemingly keeping quiet as some new innovative entrants are gonna wreck their market, and why is it that the music/film industry cry like babies when a "similarly" technologically inventive disru

As a person who is currently pretty much paralyzed by anxiety attacks I can vouch for the "don't work too much" part. Even though the cause of my distress was actually a mixture of work and fun. It sounds counterintuitive but doing stuff yo

“It is just a matter of time until the truth comes out. We are working on that and we are making good progress,” Dotcom concludes. Was the more interesting bit for me. This could actually have serious ramifications. Kim seems devoted.

As an aspiring philosopher i love these thoughts! Thank you! I have long thought that Chaos Theory is a vastly underestimated scientific field. They should teach it in elementary school!

That's cool man, I just remember Valve saying he was one helluva brilliant guy, so i was a bit skeptical of your assesment. I'm not a coder, so I can't really judge for myself.

My univsersity education is my career though. I'm in my first year, and everything is still starting up. When it's time to take my bachelor, of course i'll suit up. For now though, I'd rather spend my time exploring.

The bottom line for me is: I hate email. It might be a great framework and all, but I dread opening up gmail. I know it's going to be full of shit I don't care about, I know there's going to be an unsurmountable, unsorted, confusing, libra

I was wondering, since the background of Mona Lisa contains mountains(and a lake?), is it possible to locate where it was originally painted? The background has always been the more intriguing part for me.

I'm 22 and that's pretty much what I do. In Denmark you get payed to go to the university. I spend maybe 10 hours a week on it, and the rest is for making music and socializing. I have never been happier.

How do you know he's not a great coder?

by MrJagil 15y ago
I'm a non-coder. A very simple guide to make a very simple, understandable web-app would be the killer feature for me. There is a tutorial for a chat-app but that's way over my head(I of course get how to put in the code, I just don't under
