Why some random starting point like when a religion started counting? Ofcourse you have to start from the beginning of the universe. THAT will put things in perspective!

Hah, I had Greensleeves in my head since I was a kid with a digital watch that could play that song and some others. I had the feeling that I had heard it before that somehow. Many years later I suddenly hear that one somewhere and since th

As we keep saying, US Unions !== Swedish Unions (Or Scandinavian for that matter) Maybe the US Unions need to change name to something else because they act nothing like Unions in Europe. From what I see described by movies and companies it

I don't understand this thing about new companies coming in and making it so much easier to shop. It used to be easy. Now it takes effort to buy things. I used to just select invoice payment. The invoice ends up with my bank directly w

After owning computers for 40 years and helping friends and family with computers just as long, this gets harder and harder to keep track of. Especially now when there is no real need for a new computer unless something breaks. Then I need

I'm more of a hobby bicycle mechanic. Isn't there some similar tool for the meassuring of the chain as you get for bicycles? Just push it down and you directly see if it's time to change the chain. If not done early enough yo

Oh, I can't remember a single car me or my father had that had drum brakes anywhere else than on the handbrake. How old cars are we talking about? The oldest I can remember was SAAB 99, about 50 years old model.

On the other hand, is this how much your personal data is worth to Facebook to sell? Do they really make £12.99/month/person on advertisement? Has to be more lucrative than I thought.

Tesla can only hire strike breakers on their own premises. Sympathy strikes will hit their supplylines latest next week and then there will be no more new teslas, no more spare parts. The union is expecting Tesla to pull out of Sweden befor

Well, those 130 people is a really big thing. Another company in Sweden just got a strike on their hand. That company has 2000 employees and is hardly mentioned on the news while everyone is talking about Tesla :-)

Spoke to a taxi driver here in town, he was pretty tired of them. Our small town has 70+, he had counted them... But they do make trafic smoother if placed right. Here however they use them instead of the normal highway crossings with eleva

That's more like a trafic circle or whatever to call it. Used where there isn't enough space for a full roundabout. We had them close to school but they took them away again 20 years later. Since this was close to the fire station

Just to throw off the statistics: We have a road in town that used to be a straight run through the forest. Suddently it got a yield sign and a bus road crossing it. This ofcourse lead to a number of accidents with cars driving into busses

I guess this is depending on country. In Sweden you are allowed to exit from the inner lane. But you have to yield to traffic in the outer lane because you are doing a lane change even if you go straight for the inner exit in a two lane exi
