And use something like coconutBattery to check. iOS reports 82% while coconut reports 62% (!) on my 2 year old 6s. Definitely getting that replacement ASAP.

Yes! Check out the USGS National Map[1]. A lot of the country isn't covered, and what is there is pretty dated, but there's a recent capture of the entire west coast available. [1] https://viewer.nationalmap.gov/ba

I wouldn't mind seeing a two-tier approach, with authoritative municipal data as a base (see https://openaddresses.io/ for an example of collecting a large number of sources and normalizing it) with user-submitted edit
