Because honestly it just appears like trying to grab off a handful new customers by dumping countless iterations of the same sucked-dry product into a rapidly declining market. Similar to putting dozens of these crappy websites up that all

I too believe it has to have environmental causes. I saw a phenomenal documentary a few years ago that went into great detail of how especially pesticides and flame retardants are the most likely cause.

Yeah, you were replying to me. It's still not true. Holding cryptocurrency has always had a speculative period of 1 year.

Of course. Yours doesn't? We’re both executives. Besides, I have to admit that it’s always super funny realizing that we have flatter hierarchies and better work climate at a damn hedge fund than most places. And we’re not even crooks!

I stand corrected, that is the way it has been before 2009 when I lived in Germany. I've edited the original comment. It has, however, always been the case for cryptocurrency. This is not a new tax law or anything of significance.

This has always been the case. I've been seeing this spammed all around the internet today. I wonder if there may be some... motivation behind it. // Edit, for whatever it's worth, I'm CTO at a major hedge fund at N

I haven't found GCP to be particularly expensive (besides for some subservices) - for indie projects, Firebase is top notch and, depending on your use case free or almost free - I've always held the opinion that the markup on GCP,

Besides reliability, the moment you need to scale up, you wish you were on Heroku or a real PaaS. Although their pricing model is unacceptable and there’s many better options by now. We too use some Hetzner servers at work for infrequently

Please stop suggesting Hetzner for every random problem in existence. I've been a happy Hetzner customer for years, BUT 1) They are cheap because they are comparable to a discount supermarket chain 2) They are not a cloud platform 2.1)

That's true, but it might be worth a lot less than it is now. I know that's every second day in crypto, but why expose the crypto boys to even more bad financial advice.

How many times has there been one of the longest bull runs in history, bubbles all around and Russia going berserk all at the same time? I’m not certain many people think there is one coming. For whatever it’s worth many hedgies at NYSE are

Well, depends on who you ask, but in my humble opinion they managed to do everything as bad or even worse. Titan was backed by some percentage of USDC and Titan itself, while Luna managed to be even more abominable: Backed by BTC and Luna,

You literally just described Dutch city planning minus the last part. Almere is not the future of living. A over-the-top clickbait title does not negate valid statements either.

You have clearly never been to any Dutch city. Bicycles are priority #1 even in the most crammed and tight spaces, and thus the distinction between "urban" and "suburban" becomes completely mangled. There's simply p
