I always wondered how the scooter fad was going to work out once people realized they could just buy them for a few hundred bucks. Bicycles are hard to store for apartment dwellers, and more at risk of being stolen when locked up. I live in

If I remember correctly trying to fix this is what killed Digg. A high percentage of their content were the same power users rushing to post content from the same well liked sites. They tried to do away with it by just dumping the sites RSS

About your junior dev it might also be the way he was taught React. I'm also a junior and the way I was introduced to React was by teaching me enough JS that I could theoretically write React (with a bunch of research). One of the thin

Cool concept but the license seems kind of weird to me. 20 bucks for six months? Will anything change in that time? You might want to add a bit of info on what the license gets you.

One of the big changes I've noticed with games is that it's harder to have a conversation during them. What do I mean? I used to play a lot of Team Fortress 2, twelve people to a team, all talk on, a conversation happening while t

Both Comcast and RCN have offered a modem/router box with their service. My roommate took them up on it. I don't pay for the bill and so I don't really care. Both the boxes were decent enough at their jobs, the RCN one seems

As is mentioned elsewhere a lot of that might be the case of just no one talking about it publicly. I went to high school in the era when smartphones just started to be a thing. No one was really talking about sex out loud, people would get

While it's definitely a ridiculous bar, one the things that shocked me about working at a grocery store is how many employees worked there. I think there were around 300-400 depending on the time of year. This wasn't even that mas
