Interesting perspective. If we control for size and stick with basic principles, does converting a hatchback to a pickup provide more gain from the lower weight than losses from inferior aerodynamics? I'm not convinced it does.

Maybe you know this already, but Firefox has shortcuts for both of those. History is Ctrl+H and bookmarks is Ctrl+B. Ctrl+Shift+H and Ctrl+Shift+B to get them in a separate window.

Did you try them? Several of the settings labeled "mousewheel" also affect touchpads. I don't have a touchpad on hand to check but I remember general.smoothScroll.mouseWheel.durationMaxMS making a difference as well.

Firefox touchpad scrolling feels worse than other browsers by default because of the terrible default inertia and acceleration values. If you're not opposed to some tweaking, you can get them to feel much more like Safari. Further read

There really isn't, any more. A few more polys in the models and a few more rays in the path tracing aren't a big difference. Check out what Blender can do with Eevee, which is more-or-less a realtime engine. Better physics simula

Android has that, you just have to turn it on in settings (which no one does). Maybe it should be part of first-time setup.

Not back then. This was before "Retina" iPads, but the iPod Touch was Retina. You had a 960x640 screen vs a 1024x768 one. More pixels, but not so many more that it should block an OS update.

Those decisions are pretty arbitrary. Way back on iOS 5, the iPod Touch 4 got the update and the original iPad missed it, despite using the exact same processor and RAM.

Safari now only allows up to 50k blocked elements. If there are more than 50k things you wish to block (my lists currently have >200k and uBlock Origin by default is over 100k), Safari won't let you.

10x is not at all an exaggeration. The cheapest iPhone is $750, and there are dozens of Android phones that cost less than $75. Not good ones, but millions of people do buy them, and for those people Google is effectively a monopoly.
