Safari now only allows up to 50k blocked elements. If there are more than 50k things you wish to block (my lists currently have >200k and uBlock Origin by default is over 100k), Safari won't let you.
- kstrauser 7y agoThat's not true. Safari only allows 50K elements per list, but an app can (and some do) have multiple lists.
- djrogers 7y agoThat’s 50k per list - many blockers (like 1Blocker) simply have different lists for each category of blocked elements. Works well.
- saagarjha 7y agouBlock Origin filters can be compressed a bit, FWIW. I’m not sure yet if it’s enough to get it to fit in the 50k limit.
