Pretty much any brand name smart TV supports the "strongest" DRM and has full UHD Netflix et al support, and has done since about 2016/2017.

If you're accessing via a personal computer at all you're already in a fairly small percentage of users. The smart TV and set top box ecosystem work fine, and that's where the users are.

Scene pirates complain quite a lot that they frequently do not have access to day one Netflix UHD releases and they have to burn hardware keys to do it every few months.

L1 in Chrome is now available if your hardware supports Playready SL3000, but if it is officially supported at this point rather than being a beta that nobody guarantees from build to build seems surprisingly undocumented.

Does anyone in your blog comments ever discuss circumvention of DRM? That's a criminal offence in the UK (two year prison sentence in some circumstances). Do you have a good feeling for what might count as incitement in those circumsta

Aaron Schwartz's lawyer could have posed exactly the same claim. It wouldn't have succeeded, just like this won't. Lawyers will deploy any possible argument, just in case, even if it has a 0.1% chance of working because why w

There's no key system like that that could possibly work. But you already are required to deposit your books (or other copyrighted works) with the British Library upon publication and many other countries do the same thing. https:
