How long is the flight in comparison? And have you factored in the airport time into that? I was looking at taking the Eurostar from London to Amsterdam, and a friend was dismissing it as it took 4 hours where as the flight is ~45 mins. Exc

That's a shame, my personal perspective is so long as the question is thoughtful its fine. I sometimes get people commenting "whats this" on a random line and I haven't got time for that (unless its blatantly obvious wha

This is critical. You cant/shouldn't just go out on a whim and take shrooms. Either find someone who knows what they're doing and can walk you through it or do your own research and take it slow. Know how much your taking (as

On my old street (...not Old Street) in central London they installed standard ish plug in the lampposts with this RFID reader that let them know who to charge for the electricity. Seemed to work pretty well. Not sure how easy it is to get

Hmm, interesting. In London at least it doesn't look like the on-street charging is particularly over subscribed, although it obviously would become so if everyone followed this without drastic improvements. I think it really depends o

You're probably seeing Flying Goose brand, which is very similar in appearance (bottle, etc) but not the same taste.

They're using actual Q-Bits, so I would say its an actual Quantum computer. That doesn't make it any good though. Nor does it dismiss the claims of marketing hype. This is exactly that.

Reading about fuzz testing all I could think of was 'is this not property testing?'... That is strange. It sounds like both communities could learn a lot from each other unless there is something I am missing (there probably is..)

My issue is there is no alternative. I dont want to stop watching or hurt particular creators (not that one person would make much difference, but I enjoy their content) and Youtube is the only option. Even supporting them on Patreon the vi

"Unrelated"... literally talking about the same guy who posted this to twitter and saying how wrong he is. Yeah its related. "UFO" just means unidentified. Normally cause the cameras not in focus.

I am pretty sure they come with Lightning to USB-C now. At least the ones included with the new iMac do, and iPhones do so it would make sense for them all to.

Really? I was using the computer at 6, although basic stuff in DOS (I remember being proud I knew how to start games etc). At 6 you're in primary school in the UK and using a computer and internet safety is definitely a big thing. Not

The thing with Scala is it depends on the pattern you want to use. I am a big advocate of it, and the function pattern being used fully with something like Cats or ZIO. However I would not suggest starting there. I would start by playing ab

The UK at least tried to impose taxes and the US threatened us with sanctions. I am not aware of the exact details but its clear there is some will to change it but there is a lot of strong opposition to it as well.

They're not _all_ connected to some central police network though, many (maybe most) are private cameras. While the police can request footage to aid an investigation I don't think there is an obligation to have it stored etc.

Nothing to do with the Boeing 737, actually just an operator error. Doesn't even seem worthy of the title 'Serious Incident'. Interesting to see that title is used to give some kind of estimated weight to the passenger though

While true, outside of the US credit card usage is not as common. Many of my friends don't use them, I barely ever use them. The only time I ever really think about it is to get bonus points for airlines.
