Security is always an inconvenience at some level - that's the point. Put a human user in a sandbox and they often try to get out too in order to achieve their goal or just because it's annoying. We need to create better sandboxes

Or their shame of playing TikTok audio in public is less than their shame and anxiety of dealing with the modern world (including crowded mass transit)

That's a great point. And it goes probably both ways. The young person doing something annoying might also be annoyed by something different the older person does. Respectful communication is probably the key but why is it so elusive ?

iPhones also have a horrible sound management system which is just finally getting better. People keep their phone on silent at all times for this reason. If from the start they had simply had separate volume controls for alarms / phon

Don't forget a baggy labeled "console cables" that's always empty because it's perpetually borrowed by someone and never where you need it !

All those studios were actually already on a downward trend I'd argue. Unionisation may turn it around

Im not 87 and have great vision but I recently got some magnifying shop style glasses for close up work on tiny stuff. It also has the advantage of being like readers in that it corrects for close vision (closer point of focus) in addition

Know any good books on this stuff ? Stakeholder Capitalism sounds like a much longer term success vector for most companies.

Exactly. Obviously Apple did the research on this. Personally I still like the "flip" style fold (normal phone size that folds into a smaller square). The lack of durability for the inner screen seems like less of an issue if it&#

The AVP I thought looked like amazing hardware. It was just bizarre they didn't also go all in on making it useable for gaming.

Does the optical out actually transcode to 5.1 or is it only proper optical when the source has DD built in ?

You can also use the VLC app on an Apple TV to have a free and slightly janky media server. Just drag and drop files through any browser on a computer.

The better Roku hardware I would say is a second best - you can block the as servers fairly easily and then you do have to disable all the crap on the homescreen.
