I found solvespace more barebones, but easier to use than FreeCAD. YMMV.

Dennard's scaling is long dead[1]. Density increases thanks to "3D" integration, but transistors do not shrink much. Thus more innovation needed in the areas you highlighted to make a "smaller" equivalent process no

Some of it is a tiny bit outdated or paints a partial picture (STM does 22nm too for instance, although I'm not sure if it did in 2012). But overall I think it's pretty current and accurate. One thing is doesn't do is point o

As someone who switched from KDE in ~2017 mainly to try wayland, and stayed for the configurability and tiling aspect... Is there a way to make KDE ingest my sway configuration? I would get the best of both worlds this way. Bonus points if

Whatever POP! OS does with their gnome tiling extension [1]. I've heard a lot of praise for it. GNOME... uses D-Bus for a lot of stuff where wlroots uses wayland protocol, which makes it hard to integrate under other compositors. [1]:

Hmm, with layer-shell, you can run some parts from other DEs under a given wayland compositor. I'm not sure what parts support the protocol, but I'm fairly sure you can run krunner, and probably the KDE status bar under sway. I th

Then wouldn't that be 0.62*2^256, closer to 2^255 ? Not that it makes a notable difference: at 1 fs per step (1000 GHz, or 1 TH/s), that would take about 4.5e65 years to happen. The universe is only about 1e10 years old...

Regarding the micro SD card reader, is that really a micro SD card slot? I think it's more likely a SIM card slot. Lenovo has included these for quite some time (under the battery in the T460, for instance). That's not something y

At least patents expire after a while, and they are public. They mostly slow down commercial application of new discoveries. Copyright doesn't really expire in some places, or after a very long time. I believe this is way more damaging
