OK, I see now. For this Termux use case having an old device isn't really a big deal. Just make sure no cellular and only use it on protected LAN.

I guess in this use case removing the cellular access and only using it on LAN would be good enough? Edit; second though NO. Clicking a bad link with some browser exploit on it will still get you infected in that case. So you couldn't

Found on that site; Wena Pro and Wena 3. What a great idea, I love my old mechanical watches, really like metal bracelets, and I do like having smart watch features. Unfortunately seems like Wena is a bad implementation of this concept. Wha

A while back there was a post here about MyNoise and I do find that it helps concentration in the office, but I think it's primarily because it blocks you from hearing/understanding conversations nearby. The conversation blocker w

It seems like the crowd here is pro things like this. I understand the e-waste angle. How do you protect and defend android devices that haven't received security updates for a long time?

I did that for a while too, but on my phone. It was a big hassle as apps and services do not handle this gracefully at all. Sometimes you get a failure for something to connect, sometimes it just stops working silently. Rarely I got a clear

Oh, the real frustration is I've got a senior in another dept that doesn't answer emails and texts. He is in a world of immediate chaos because everyone knows that so you either call him three times or it doesn't ever get don

We have a good crew and most do that. Some seem to only live in the moment, walk in and give me a updated IP for something and I'll tell them to email it and I'll update it when I'm working on that. There is a certain percent

I'm also in a construction related trade and we get compensated for travel time to/from work sites. Eliminating a day of travel time alone is a big deal for the employer. When things get busy having a additional 10 hour day in the

This is a bit different from a 32 hour week. But yes you will see productivity go UP with 4 10s. That's a full days worth of break and lunch interruptions that isn't there. I switched to 4 10s a couple years back and it's nic
