Late addition but yes of course the apps must support those IMAP features. They work hand in hand for this functionality. Presently if you aren't able to do any of the above something is not configured correctly. Some apps have differi

It's fun and educational. I nabbed first@last.me. Unfortunately my last name isn't quite so easy to spell so it isn't quite the easiest but it's me.

You might consider Aquamail. I found it to be more powerful and configurable than K9 or Kaiten when I was on android. I'm MXRoute/fastmail/gmail/exchange on the back end for MX service providers.

The majority of what you are talking about (read / unread, user tags and other such things) is handled by the IMAP server. eg; I routinely start drafts on mobile, save it, then continue to draft on a computer before sending. Also set f

Amazing, I've never even heard of a ERU in residential work. I'm not an engineer so I'm unaware of the rules and regulations, I'm just pointing out what I've actually seen getting installed and what engineers sequen

Every single building is supposed to be positive with conditioned air at all times. Any building that's negative pulls in unconditioned air through all the cracks. Where I live it's very humid (think Houston TX) and if you pull th

There is a massive difference in residential HVAC techs and commercial HVAC work. I had three bids from different contractors in my house and I specifically called out the whistling return vent, showed them how it sucks the filter in. The f

There are guidelines in the spec but I think they are quite high. There's also studies that high CO2 kills concentration in schools, those seem more reasonable. Zoned systems are supposed to be able to handle individual zone heating&#x

HVAC Controls tech here; Commercial buildings have all sorts of rules under Ashrae in the US. Generally in commercial there is a minimum air exchange rate for occupied space. Pre covid it was being constricted for "green" energy i

This is currently my top concerns with my career/job. Biggest obstacle; time/energy. 40 hours with 10 hours a day invested in the job leave me with zero motivation to further do training. Risking burnout here, I need to get away.

Oh yes, I know why it's blocked. There is no moderation and a couple nasties interacting with people on other servers early on brought that down on us. It's mostly self policing and block lists these days. Generally a fun group bu

Seems to me that enforcement throughout Covid went down. People noticed and I think drivers are more wild now.

Good point on the browser, so you'd need to go through and uninstall old browsers (if you can) and change the default browser. I agree, seems like this is prolonging things and just delaying the inevitable.

You don't is my position. Lots of things that can be done past end of support to extend it a bit but you are right it's all shades of gray.

That came to mind for extending device support. As I understand it though the hardware drivers are all closed source and end support rather quickly. I believe that the drivers are sometimes the source of the problem which sort of complicate

I'm aware the play store can do a LOT more than the name implies. What I wasn't thinking about was this tool generally doesn't need the device to be on public IP, so remove the cellular access and have it behind a LAN firewal
