This is why I think it is important to self host things and I applaud Ubiquiti for allowing UNMS/UISP to be self hosted for free. As far as I understand it our UNMS was never at risk from this problem.

As a Vivaldi user I would really like to see more growth in this area. There are some great ideas in browser forks and I would like to enable them.

I was thinking about deploying some security.txt on our sites and your experience occurred to me, it is sort of like hanging a fishhook out there for all sorts of automated spamming.

Personally I'd prefer a warning about sites that pull the things like what this one does. I see that people are already warning about PDF files, some other similar warning about autoplay that can't be easily stopped would be nice

Man this site is toxic, full page cover "lets talk about your adblocker", meanwhile a video with sound is playing in the background and you can't do anything about it. Seriously, what do they expect people to do? I know I hit

I got the impression developers shunned Amazon app store because it's a bad experience for them. Quite often am I seeing apps there that are many versions behind the play store.

The map is only a piece of the story too. Depriotitization is a thing you will encounter, mostly on MVNO's. I call it four bars of no data. Just moved from Mint back to AT&T Prepaid because of this situation. Your results will vary

I'm curious to know if this impacts MVNOs that were using T-Mobile?

by Maxburn 5y ago
Yes. Talk to any police or first responder, they have training to cover this. For this and some other reasons is why police often approach stopped vehicles from the passenger side, further off the road and shielded from oncoming traffic by

As a human I find dealing with going around emergency vehicles at night is a bit troublesome. The emergency lights are overwhelming and obscure your vision from other things, like some worker near the vehicle. Also the human distraction tha

They didn't even have that much evidence, google didn't participate in finding the defendant. He shared these docs on social media and was found that way.

I did not get that impression. The defendant said he used google to find these things, google did not snitch on him. He was in turn discovered by sharing them on social media.
