I really like the landing page they made for this event. Very creative and nerdy.

Agreed. It's a great play either way in my opinion. I have a feeling Uber is going to get a lot of new customers tomorrow.

My Macbook Air screams. I bought a macbook pro about 1 year ago and my brand new MBA (top model) is noticeably faster. Not only boot and shutdown times but overall snappiness of the machine. The main reason for this is the SSD inside. I lov

This is amazing and exactly what I am doing. I kept thinking I need a technical cofounder, and I still wouldn't mind having one, but that doesn't mean I can't become a technical cofounder myself. I took the same route. I picked up a ruby on

I really like stories like this. I was a pretty decent Starcraft player myself and I started watching his videos last year. He does a great job of announcing the matches and just watching the videos makes you a better player. Congrats to hi

Well, iTunes is on the PC. I'm sure Apple is already working on PC integration including Android.

Apple's new announcements touched so many startups it's scary. iMessage takes on all the free/group messaging apps that have been built lately. iCloud takes on (maybe not very well) rdio and other streaming music services. Airdrop takes on

True. Streaming is great and all but I wanted a monthly fee for all music...not a yearly fee to stream music I already have and/or purchase.

I wanted to build a text-based RPG in high school. Ended up falling in love with coding and been doing it ever since. Whenever I want to learn a new language I usually buy a book about it, get half way through, and then just do my own thing

That's insane - a few people got very rich. Seems like they should have invested that money back into the company if you ask me.

I saw this a few days ago. I believe that if another country hacked the US and took top secret data, it could potentially cause as much damage as a conventional weapon. So, using conventional weapons in retaliation for cyber-attacks doesn't

Does it bother anyone that China continues to hack us? It is very possible that this was a government-backed attack, which wouldn't be the first against Google by the Chinese government. The biggest problem is that these don't seem to be so

I love this. Being scrappy is one of the best qualities among entrepreneurs. The attitude of "do anything" to succeed usually results in success not to mention it is one of the characteristics that PG looks for in founders.

With regards to startups with tech cofounders having more change for success - One thing I've been wondering lately is how a "technical cofounder" is defined? I graduated from my college with a degree in economics. My career thus far (in In
