Neither, most people are born into whatever church their parents went to ;) But seriously, it really is a mix. A church can most certainly shape its members beliefs, but many people will also leave a church over issues like these.

I’d rather have that than the bullshit promoting cryptocurrencies that gets posted here on occasion.

There are a bunch but it depends on whether you want to use a “reall language or a custom in-game language (usually visual programming). For example Baba is You is a great programming game but it’s very different from regular programming. T

Ha I’m also 36! To be clear I don’t mean modern games are “better” games, that’s obviously subjective. I mean that the design techniques are more advanced. Games have evolved as designers learn which mechanics and systems are more compellin

Was a bit annoying to see that Nir’s main counter examples were “Do you want Netflix to make less engaging shows? Do you want to make less engaging podcasts?”. I don’t know if anyone says they’re addicted to podcasts, but either way those c

I just mentioned it in another comment but Discord servers are one of the newest types of communities popping up (especially for younger folks, but they can be for people of any age). For example, here’s one about gardening: https:/&#

They used to not allow gambling products, which required a specific license, but that restriction was removed from UE4 at some point in the past couple years. On the other hand, Unity does still require a specific gambling license.

In Windows I would copy the folder path from Explorer and paste it into the save dialog and press enter, which will cause the save dialog to go to that folder.

Clickbait is more about titles and thumbnails and less about the content itself. The content of this video is hardly what I would consider clickbait.

That’s because those things make the video more interesting to watch. It’s targeted at a more general audience, not at scientists.

As the judge mentions during the trial, many large corporations such as banks have apps with millions of users, yet they don’t pay Apple a cent. Meanwhile Epic has to give Apple 30% of everything they make. Video games are subsidizing banks

Low quality food absolutely can make you fat because it makes it harder to eat properly. Unhealthy food isn’t just “easier to overeat” but also messes with insulin to make you feel more hungry than you actually are.
