It really doesn’t work by just cutting and pasting scraps, I think you might need to do a bit more research on how this stuff works.

I don’t know why you’d assume the AI behind this wouldn’t end up with access to both the source and product artifacts, implementing changes in the most constrained/localized way possible.

Human beings build stuff non deterministically too. The key is just to give the tool more information along with the screenshot, for example showing it your current codebase so it writes code using the same conventions.

I get your point, but it only applies to the most simple of these examples. This can do all kinds of stuff, for example look further into that thread and you’ll see it implementing tic tac toe. The tool works by basically sending a screensh

None of the things you mentioned are useless. Perhaps you‘re just being needlessly critical? Or is this just a form of trolling?

Have you used it? A GPT4 chatbot could convince 90% of people it was a human, right now. It could pass the majority of knowledge-based tests in all kinds of fields. 100 million people find it useful enough to use weekly.

I’m a little perplexed at why you feel the need to refer to it in reductionist terms like this? It seems to provide a lot of value considering that it has 100 million weekly active users. I regularly find myself using it a dozen times a day

First post I’ve seen here from Aftermath. I think the site only went live a couple days ago but seems like it’s run and owned by a bunch of veteran game journalists. I’m hoping it does well.

In what world is that “usable”? I mean sure it technically works, but the usability of it is horrible.

I wouldn’t be surprised if most thin people who claim to eat lots of junk food actually just eat a lot less regular food. In other words, they don’t eat many calories, but the calories they do eat are junk.

If someone cared that much about getting into my house, they could easily get into any key-based lock as well, or through any other way, like a window.

I have somethint similar but it’s purely mechanical, no electronics or batteries to worry about at all. Even my kids can use it fine and it only takes a second to enter the combo.

It doesn’t matter how it started, it matters what it actually stands for now. In the case of that hand gesture, it really has been used intentionally by actual white supremacists (though I would argue that the woman in this particular photo

I’m not OP but I’ve been doing game dev for 15 years professionally for the same reasons you mentioned. I’ll be honest up front though, it’s not a great field if you’re going into it trying to make money, but it can be incredibly satisfying

Just about every Bubble Tea place does this, including in North America. They will ask what sweetness level and what ice level you want.

For typing without looking at the keyboard, of course physical is better. However once you’re already looking right near the keybord like on a phone, the advantages diminish. The main thing about a screen under glass is all the other stuff

Yeah your laptop/desktop speed is faster than mine, I’m somewhere between 100-120wpm there. I wonder if my faster phone speed is due to my weird typing style where I use my left thumb and my right index finger? heh

There is no way this was intentional. First you’d have to argue that only the top execs were aware of this, because a bunch of Unity employees quit due to this. Secondly, if it was a form of anchoring, they did it in the worst possible way.

Diablo 4 was great. I put probably 50+ hours into it and enjoyed it a lot. I also completely ignored the opionion of whatever communities existed for it, because they ALWAYS complain and turn toxic, especially for Blizzard games. It’s inevi

I think autocorrect is overrated and actually makes the typing process much more annoying. Also I’m not sure if 55wpm is supposed to be fast or not? I just did a typing test (monkeytype.com) on my iPhone and got 80 wpm with 0 mistakes, and
