Do you have any examples of a one way direct being more expensive than a round trip, with both of them sharing the same outgoing flight?

Sounds like you’re only fine with it because you personally benefit from it.

How about: each user creates an account with their legal ID. Obviously unique so they can’t create multiple using the same ID. Before the sale, everyone signs up. Once the sale is started, tickets are distributed using a lottery system for

Yes but it’s not portable. If zero initialization were the default and you had to opt-in with [[uninitialized]] for each declaration it’d be a lot safer. Unfortunately I don’t think that will happen any time soon.

You might wanna look into Skia’s pathkit for a lot of path transformations it can do and you could use.

I love their choice of Go because of how simple it is to generate a static executable with no dependencies (ie no dotnet runtime).

You could say the same about Silkroad in the US, or Google in China, or online casinos in specific states. It’s simply the law of the land. The people voted for it so that’s what it is.

Illegal immigrants can’t vote. Permanent residents can’t vote either. You can only vote once you acquire citizenship (which means doing the whole immigration process, then waiting several more years to be able to apply for citizenship).

Skia’s api is focused around using postscript-like commands such as “move to” “line to”, etc to produce vectors that it rasterizes.

The only similarity between the two is that they deal with images. That library only resizes and does other basic pixel level operations. Skia is for drawing vector graphics.

GTA V is an exception because it's so easy to cheat in. I believe it's peer-to-peer with no verification among peers that what happened should actually have happened. It's basically impossible to secure that.

Even with super long leases, couldn’t they just have a larger subnet? A /8 oughta do it. But I guess we’re talking about the same people who made the mistake in the first place…

So how are the developers who make these products going to get paid? When you resell a physical item it’s worn and costs time & effort to resell. Software is very different. That means no one would ever buy the software from the develop

It’s not that simple. Some games aren’t able to prevent cheating. The client has the data on where the enemies on their screen are. The cheat only needs to move the mouse and click on the enemies heads. Other games like MMORPGs involve the

For shooter games, raw input is preferred. You want the same amount of mouse movement to move your camera the same amount every time. In those type of games, you aren’t controlling a cursor, so there’s no “expected behavior”.

A better solution than what rmholt said is to have a static method that returns std::optional<T>. This way if T exists, it's valid. Later you get into another whole debate about movable types and what T should be once it's m
