Why would a VPS choke hosting static HTML? For 5 EUR you get 20 TB traffic on Hetzner.

Speaking of weird Gemini behavior, anyone else observed it injecting the approximate time in the second to last paragraph at times? > If you are already standing at the stove (say, at 11:51), you can simply put the pan on a burner with a

Well if it had all the ram, you still could not run it because you can't download it. It's hosted by them, just like chatgpt or claude.

I don't know about this model specifically, but other china models did not have the limitation. It was purely on the hosted end, tacked on as a self check while the text was generating. Did that change?

Yeah, but it being in 2.99 / 3.0 means it was only in stable gimp since 2025, so one year ago. That explains why I did not know about it. But nice to see that they finally added it.

> I’m honestly not able to run it What do you mean? This is not self hosted, it's closed source. And any website that targets China or is hosted in China will probably censor Tiananmen Square.

Huh, 2.99 does that mean it was the beta for 3.0? Because I think i have been using stable gimp a few times over the last couple of years and not seen it.

I never used Photoshop, it was easy to use other advanced tools such as Davinci Resolve, Darktable etc. But Gimp is just horrible. Even when you don't compare it to Photoshop.

Is that a common usecase? I think the way I would do it, is to go to target branch, cherry pick the commits and push. Then go to source branch and revert the changes. All done from within the IDE. Not the cleanest way, though.
