I see your point. I think the culture is set by those leading a business. Then again, those leading should listen to both internal and external factors that drive culture. In recruitment, I regularly hear 'they're too old for this

Good spot - and thank you for the grammar correction. I agree. Most jobs are boring. Unless employers can articulate what problems the person will solve, learn and what impact their job will have on their peers/employer.

Hi there. Have you asked these recruiters why it's important you have an ATS optimised resume? I'd also be wary of recruiters offering you advice, so long as they're not using old black-hat tips around making your resume text

Thanks for your comments. Useful insights. One or two could be subjective, but I realise the people reading the resumes will see things differently too. It reads like the ATS you've used / seen can ID resumes and not kick them out
