We’re still a long, long, long way from AGI. Releases like this are more about stock price and investment than anything else. I’m glad we’ve put more investment into this area as ultimately AGI will be able to uplift a large sector of the p

Don’t do it right now. Your level will be meaningless. Nobody in sales cares about your experience unless you’re an industry “thought leader” pumping out articles, podcasts and keynotes. More likely than not you’ll start as a regular SE. To

I don't know why anyone would live in that city. Unless you're being bussed directly to a campus from out of area, it's an insane place to work, let alone live. Understaffed, under-resourced and under-appreciated.

Seems like WORM drives, and EU/gov-operated cloud logging services should be a good mechanism for this. If you get audited, they check your vehicle against cloud logs - if they aren't present, they request your WORM drive backup (

Looks like he had his nose done, has definitely had Botox - I don’t think he’s had fillers, looks like steroid puffiness. Probably adjusting to something hormonal, might be getting over COVID or similar with some help.

Every salary range I've ever seen has been negotiable unless it's for government or tertiary roles. I don't understand how this helps except for quickly assessing who the top players are in the market, which you'll alrea

Networking with colleagues. Finding a new job. Filtering recruiter offers (instant-response bot: Remote only? Salary >X, or daily rate >$? I'm an X citizen. If the role meets these requirements, message me again!)

Hard to find a job in FAANG or other unicorns. Regular companies are hiring, funded startups are hiring, government and public sector is hiring. There won't be any bread lines.
