Good. Snapped something up that met my salary expectations after 60 days of searching hard. By hard I mean I abused LinkedIn, I messaged everyone I knew in every company I saw that was actively hiring and asked if they’d refer. Then I messa

That’s because you’re misunderstanding the purpose of CISSP. It’s about risk mitigation and governance, not 0days and buffer overflows. If you want that, hire a hacker.

DC is deprecated unless you’re FedRAMP (which they still haven’t got). Good luck getting that if you’re not F500. Once they get the government tick off approval they’ll kill off hosted versions completely. Last I heard they hired some guy t

Thankful GitLab EE exists. What a nightmare for any companies who deal with M&A, finance, healthcare, etc. Sure, you can trust cloud providers not to get hacked. But I’d sooner have the option to unplug the Ethernet.

You obviously have never lived with unstable people who often live just above the poverty line. There’s a reason why share houses and shelters don’t work.

The best way to be sure is to fly in planes used by the US military. They don’t fuck around with their supply chains. But then again, they also buy direct from factory and keep parts on hand for decades.

I live reading copy that’s obviously written by nerds. This is the least corporate announcement I’ve seen from a corporation in a long time. No mention of how much they live trust and privacy or how they’re going to make your experience mor

Your service doesn’t validate SPF. An invalid SPF (eg too many DNS lookups, invalid syntax) will result in all passes but creates a security risk. Yes, from a marketing perspective this is fine. But you should warn about it.

Opposite in Australia. Cheaper, nicer, more staff, better resourced at WeWork. However I think they’re definitely struggling with utilisation. It’s always an empty gym. Which as someone who pays for the desk, I’m happy. But about 30-50% of

Same issues in New Zealand. Good roads capable of driving fast, but there’s too much traffic and they should have invested in infrastructure 30 years ago.

No shit. We need faster legislators. We need faster legal precedence. This shit needs to be prioritised in the courts.

That’s because it degrades each time you use it. There’s a reason the cheapest stuff comes in black, thick, low quality plastic containers. It’s because it’s just short of being processed into either astroturf or roads. Some stuff gets re-m

Can’t wait to hand over my passport and drivers license to some random person after security wearing a uniform and holding an iPad after I get off an 8 hour red-eye. Surely nothing can go wrong.

People who say it doesn’t work don’t understand chronic pain management. It’s less about stopping the pain and more about making it bearable enough to forget about it. Some pain you can’t stop. You can address the symptoms though.

They do. You just won’t pay for it. When you sign a mortgage or take out a loan and it’s all online, lenders will pay someone to come to your house, take a photo of you, verify it, and then video tape you signing. It’s just not convenient.
