I don't have a direct answer for you, but I would checkout any AirVenture Oshkosh groups online. I know people build planes ahead of the event to fly in.

I've been using Fastmail for a number of years at this point and outages are rare. Has been reliable for me but I also didn't notice the one you posted.

I'm so far removed from the Navy at this point and don't know the details but a court martial won't include a separation board. That usually follows.

This is insane yet not shocking. I can’t imagine throwing away my entire career, and possibly more, over this. When I was stationed aboard the USS Mount Whitney, we had internet access at essentially all times. Yes it was painstakingly slow

We just started doing this and it was awesome to start but slowly I could tell people started becoming disinterested. We are contemplating another round which I think will be the deciding factor.
