Reddit has been trash for a very long time. But you know it's worse, because you get punished for criticizing AI comments on those subreddits.

Is the major issue here that 3 degrees Celsius is like an average so all the hot tropics places just become uninhabitable whereas temperature rises are more moderated in higher latitudes? Also how much faster and higher will that number go

It probably should apply. The spirit of HIPAA is the protection of health information.

How does this not violate HIPAA?

I think the majority of dev work will be gone. We already demonstrated just throwing more compute at it is leading to better and better results. We'll likely have advancements that make it so regular people that ask the right questions

"In fact, all evidence points to the contrary." Um. No? I'd like to see how you conjured up that one. Because evidence does indeed point exactly to things just being as they are. "You have objective value being made in t

What? What is rational about faith-based comments? Literally nothing is rational about that. It's also just flat out off-topic.

Where's Dang? The amount of rule-breaking comments in this thread is pretty much out of control.

I think and hope we see a lot more of this before the adversarial imperative returns from the company side. People using Claude Fable to just make replacements for disgustingly enshittified software. We desperately need browser extensions t

Could probably do this with a much older model given that it's something that probably has thousands of github repositories for source code to do so.

I mean only people with billions of dollars can make competitors to anthropic because of necessary compute costs that's the barrier to entry

Unfortunately I'm telling the truth. You guys have a serious quality control problem for both the articles and the incentivized comment sections. It's all political. Millions of dollars to be on the front page of HN. It all breaks

That's nearly every single article on the front page of HN nowadays that talks about AI related stuff

Does it actually play identically or is there going to be weird bugs all over the place? Seems like an impossible ask to verify if you don't have an immense test suite that covers everything.

If those actually solved the fundamental issue we would already have an explosion of competitive software for major projects

Notice the website url is the same name as the commentor. Notice he's using "trust me bro" benchmarks. Can we just remove all the motivated speech on HN? This is just not trustworthy information at all and obviously is incent

I agree. The worst part about it is like 80% of the conversation is motivated speech. That's worse than the technology itself.

Sounds like fair game considering Claude is built upon the theft of creative assets of the entire world and aims to eliminate white collar jobs entirely

Don't think this was ever proven? Many thousands of kids go into music at a very young age every year, very few come out with absolute pitch.

As someone who got a Comp Sci degree from a good school and who worked at FAANG right out of school, it seems like this is all that matters to companies looking to hire me.
