FDIC backs dollar deposits with dollars. Seems reasonable to assume bitcoin deposits would be backed by an equivalent bitcoin fund.

Title doesn’t match. It should be: “ Vantage Launches Slack Support For Cost Report Notifications” Totally different thing. Figured that out after wasting a few minutes on this.

No, but I use feedparser in the same script. Basically I'm scraping SEC data, but the script has been around for awhile untouched, so there are probably better solutions today.

I find a couple things pretty neat here: 1 - All of the screenshots are from a Mac. This never would have happened with the old MSFT. 2 - The performance of this is pretty good. Admittedly, I just played with this for a couple minutes, but

This is just dumb. Say goodbye to just about every single multi-state firm. Not just the FB and Googles of the world, but also the Starbucks and Chick-Fil-As as well. And say goodbye to your Visa card. Probably your bank as well (even if

I use it to parse crappy (non-standard) RSS feeds offline for an internal app I use. chrome-scraping would just be more of a pain (although I've done it before).

I see 2 targets that Nim could attack well with a bit of focus - Python and Swift. Both have their strengths, but you always pick off people at the edges. Performance would do well against Python, and multi-platform against Swift. This wil

How birds can fly into a tree at speed, and land on a branch without poking an eye out (or anything else) several times per day is amazing to me. "Bird-brain" may be an insult to people, but I'd bet their 3-D processing capab

I find it interesting the FedEx hasn’t entered this market by purchase someone like Square and competing with Amazon. At this pace, left unchecked, Amazon is going to destroy their business as well.

Windows 11 purpose is to clear out legacy requirements so that MSFT can streamline development. Obviously they are running into some technical issues while doing this. Frankly, I’m not sure if this is a one-off, or they are just bad at bu

You’re right - “helicoptering” is no longer accurate - “airlifting” might be more appropriate. Remember, the Fed is buying $120,000,000,000 of bonds per month . That’s well beyond a helicopter’s capability!
