The question is probably how close they are to the antennas. In my setup, the USB stick was pasically left on the plants leaves, the plant acted as a scaffold for it. And it maybe I wasn't clear enough - the whole plant didn't die, just the

It's basically anecdotal evidence, something that I personally observed with my plant and my USB stick. Is it necessary to have sources for my own observations?

Wow, any reason I got downvoted for this? I'm not a wireless opponent or something (I'm probably using much more wireless devices in my home than most people), just stating my observation.

Because it's basically a small microwave, at 2.4Ghz. Its harmless from a distance, but if it's very near the antenna, it will toast the flower.

A fun experiment if you use an USB WiFi stick - put it on an USB extender cable and lay on any plant in your home. After few days the plant will most probably die in this place.

It's not "useless hashing". The computations are neccesary to secure the network and process transactions. It's not possible to just swap the algorithm to do something entirely different and still achieve the goals of Bitcoin network.

oDesk does one screenshot in each 10-minute period, at random. So you can be sure to have 6 screenshots per hour, but you can never know when the screenshots will be shot by oDesk software. Source: I work for an agency that does this.

Since when building a homepage is easy? I'm not talking about a simple static page with company contact info, but a full-fledged, dynamic web page. It includes knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, (no)SQL and some backend technology like PHP

While learning how to do this stuff in code is a good exercise, it's much better to do these things in IB when possible. Here's the same app done in IB: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1127246/Screenshots/op4t.png This is it, that's the whole app

I'm writing a fairly complex iOS app, and I opted in for storyboards in it. It doesn't handle 100% of navigation, because I only was invited to work on the app at some point and I didn't feel to rewrite the whole thing, but I use it for a s

The security on the client side will be on the level that blockchain.info provides, but this will be more than just a online wallet - it will also be an exchange. I'm aware about injecting JS vulnerability. Of course you can't get around it

I plan on using Javascript crypto. I've spent many hours reasoning over this idea, also studying security community reactions on mega.co.nz and I think it is possible to do now. I don't want to disclose all details now for obvious reasons,

While this is true, it's extremely hard to keep your computer free of any kind of malware. There are many trojans that go undetected for enough time to do serious damage. I personally know a guy that, even with having anti virus installed,
