git range-diff compares two commit ranges (two versions of a branch, e.g. before and after a rebase). Its output is difficult to comprehend, though. It’s a diff between diffs, presented in one dimension using two columns of pluses/ min

There's a licensing server and users seem to be identified by the email addresses they use Owl with. At a glance it seems like it checks for a valid license every once in a while. The code that does it has a couple paragraphs at the to

Have you ever tried booking flights with EasyJet? Their web servers would just literally stop sending you TCP packets once they see a session cookie that hasn't accepted the cookie consent within a minute or so. Took me a while to figu

Yeah, "good use", and also just happens to no longer support subpixel font antialiasing, so good luck if your screen isn't 4K. Which a lot of screens out there aren't. :-(

Hopefully not. GTK4 deliberately removed support for subpixel font antialiasing, making fonts noticeably more blurry/ugly on non-HiDPI screens. There's a ton of FHD (1920x1080) or 1920x1200 screens out there that are perfectly fin

Also, function keys aren't separated into 4-key blocks, and ins/del/home/end/pgup/pgdown are in the wrong place. :-(

I used HipChat for years and never actually saw what the thing looked like. Any XMPP client just worked, no hassle whatsoever. When we later switched to Slack it was actually a downgrade from my point of view. :-/
