Not sure why the down votes, this is true. If you only had 16, 32, or 48K then 64K seemed like a lot. Hell, the RAM size was so important that they named machines after it.

If you think the Seal isn't affordable then don't buy one. You can buy a brand new Dacia Spring for only £12,240. Personally I don't think it's a great car but it's certainly doesn't cost 40K. If it were my mo

This is just silly. In what way is a $600 netbook their flagship product when then also ship wildly successful 128GB MacBook Pros and 256GB Mac Studios? I was more disapointed when they dropped the 512GB Mac Studio than I am the loss of th

Really? What are you basing that on? Having worked at FinTechs and in finance in general that doesn't ring true at all. The FCA definitely takes anti-money laundering checks quite seriously. e.g. (off the top of my head) NatWest were

I’m not sure why web-midi can’t be available behind a permission to control finger printing. I can think of several light weight patch editors I’d like be able to use. There’s probably not enough demand for someone to make a stand alone app

Not sure why this is controversial. RP is just an accent like any other now. I didn’t have lessons for it and I don’t know anyone else that did. It’s just how we speak.

You say “needs to be learned” but that’s no more so than any other accent. We just grow up with it because it’s how our parents and the parents of our friends speak. If you want to change your accent you can, of course, get elocution lesson

I actually still have an old Grundig reel to reel somewhere, although I can't claim it as ever really hifi. I would stand by recording to reel to reel tape for quality being even less common recording to cassette tape. Quality domestic

Sometimes I feel completely separated to mainstream culture. That the death of Sir Tony Hoare has been completely ignored by mainstream news is one of them. Not a peep anywhere for a man that put a big dent in reality.
