Most of the complaints I have seen online are will not power on, DOA type issues. Not many yet (some review units out of box etc). Apple deems itself a consumer company and perfection is too expensive. Apple quality is generally going up ev

Run a local web server for the interface and enable guided access to prevent accidental clicks and swipes. Should make a decent smart interface or destination to push video or audio.

On iOS have you tried Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text size > turning on Color Filters and sliding intensity and hue to the far right? Maybe set the triple click shortcut to Color Filters?

I do not think it is unreasonable to assume Trump stating he had won was actually an attempt to incite riots and looting. He seems to really enjoy chaos. Into the history books by hook or crook.

I wish Hacker News would do the same... Any lie in the name of "sarcasm" which is not explicitly labeled such should be flagged. There is too much of a chance of translation issues not making it clear that the lie is intended for

Modern sports do not have just a few cameras. With the tech there can be a hundred perspectives. Soccer used to be a few cams covering the whole field. Ai should be able to predict power and angles of the kick for the most exciting framing

It seems the perfect COVID-19 option. Completely touchless and fast. I was playing with a DMV kiosk and it took about half a second to recognize a key press.

With this new MagSafe charger it looks like the end goal is to remove one more port. Plugging in may not be an option soon. The 2nd gen pencil charges without plugging in for instance. If you can set up a US Google voice number you cold tr

I did not get it from your blog, but I think you are very not alone. It is amusing how many developer blogs I click on that throw up your flash player is outdated type malware.

Fury is going a bit far. I've always been taught it is fundamental if a device with secure data is not in a secure location you have already lost. Why the VA gets in such trouble for losing their laptops no matter how well encrypted. I

Additional side note: non-Apple chargers are often scary inside. They rarely contain the safeties of Apple chargers. That is outside this whole hackers setting chargers on fire issue.

My favorite was the DMV every 2-3 minutes making a call transfer sound with some ringing to get your hopes way up. Then after 5-6 loops of this hanging up on you with “we do not have any agents available.”

This sounds like an opportunity for an audio in a chat feed where between lines the computer spits out typing sounds and a virtual agent saying please hold on while I look into that. Of course a better fix would be a combination of the two.

Sounds like you picked up the SE used and it had an activation lock. One of the more annoying things Apple has done was to take down the page for checking that before purchase. That or you put in an iCloud account at some point but it did n

Take your average high end mall, Apple negotiates with the mall owner to pay much less than other stores because having Apple around makes the mall more attractive. Equally unfair as the Amazon case? Every business owner, mall owner, or hea

Facebook always gets their cut, just not from the consumer. They sell or use the usage data to undercut popular services which seems more toxic than 30% up front. If they were doing this without retaining data on the transaction I would be

Apple would probably counter lobby that if one company is called out then all involved in the transaction should be. Facebook should publish their profit off of you for this page view. The seller should show the cut taken by upper managemen

It may suck that Apple makes decisions about what runs, but if rules are there then I would expect them to be enforced. The thing that ticks me off most about this game of chicken is the timing. Pretty much have 10s of kids stuck at home du

Retail is not the place to compare markup. The lowest markup I saw recommended was 10%. Average was 20-30% and big box was at least 40%. There is no guaranteed win for consumers at all as prices are set what the market will bear.

More likely it will shift market share to consoles. Epic will still lose their 30% cut and Apple will still sell what they did before. I do not foresee “can play Epic Games” as a phone marketing strategy.

So this is step one and they intend to sue for more and more with the Epic endgame of getting the Epic store preloaded on iPhone? I look forward to the never ending news cycle.
